I've been through the school district from Kindergarten through senior year of high school. I've participated in many advanced classes at elementary, middle school, and high school levels. These advanced courses, as well as most other classes, do a fantastic job of preparing students for college; grades are almost exclusively designed towards this goal.
With few exceptions, the teachers are passionate and engaged in their subject matter, doing a great job of preparing students for future education. The heavy focus on academics and post-secondary education does create a high-achieving atmosphere in which students feel compelled to succeed; grades and test scores are a major source of stress for students. Rocklin is an amazing school that offers a plethora of educational opportunities.
I've found that the classes focus on real life applications of the material being learned. There's a lot of electives to choose from which give students the ability to expand their education beyond the expected curriculum, and explore skill sets such as computer science, art, theater, engineering, and a lot more.
I moved to Rocklin for the opportunities and academic rigor that it offers its students, and I have not been disappointed by RHS. The culture is the only thing that knocks off a star, as it seems to have pretty rigid social groups, making it very difficult for new students or outcasts to wiggle in anywhere. What we have appreciated the most are: Our kids were and are well prepared for the next level school. Our oldest one was just accepted on one of the top Universities in the area.
They really invest to your children's future. We consider these years of education very important for our children further education that is why we choose Chapin and Chapin School has delivered on it. Thank you Chapin School for all your commitment to our children's education! For further info you can call. The schools themselves are fair, but the teachers are very nice! The education provided if good, especially because the teachers provide many ways to receive help at the schools along with multiple outside resources for those who need extra help.
Overall the schools in this district are pretty good, as they provide multiple opportunities for the future and motivate them to push their limits. Folsom High is a school unlike any other. Our campus is quite large, like one of a Junior College. We take pride in our school and are deeply committed to our academics and sports. We love our blue football field, highly intelligent teachers and wonderful peers!
Being a bulldog is more than just being a student; It's being home where you belong surrounded by people you love. The classes were somewhat hard at times, it varied. Teachers were good and were on point with there teaching. Teachers even stayed way after to class to make sure you understood the material. John Reith and Prarie Elementary had decent school spirit. Sports are bad at some schools, such as Valley but good at Jackman.
I wouldn't say it's the school district with the most resources, such as money but they get by with what they do have. At james rutter parents are not really involved with there students school life. EGUSD schools truly prepare students for college and the work force.
My experience at Np3 is very good! We have received multiple awards for being in the top 3 schools in California! Our campus is very diverse and helps you with the college experience tramendoisly. Our campus is very safe and our faculty is very resourceful. Any question you ask, they always answer in the most genuine and respectful way. However, sports to many students is an issue. We do not have sports only clubs because administration feels that all students should only focus on academics.
Going along with academics, we offer a variety of AP courses in all subjects. SJUSD is a very supportive and community based district. Excellent programs to reach large student base. Comprehensive college readiness and career exploration to meet the needs of all students.
I have attended Lincoln High School for 3 years and have been overwhelmed by the quality of academically motivated students I seen here. The majority of the teachers I have had have been so helpful and encouraging.
